- Access to the MCHSL eLibrary is available to all Mount Carmel Health System (MCHS) colleagues as well as Mount Carmel College of Nursing (MCCN) students, faculty, and staff. You need an active Library account to login and access the eLibrary.

What is my Username?
Username is always your MCCN or MCHS e-mail address.
What is my Password?
The answer to this question is depends on how you are affiliated with MCHS.
- All MCHS colleagues, with active Library accounts, will now be using Single Sign-On for logging into the eLibrary. This provides a great advantage – your eLibrary credentials never expire while you are with Mount Carmel Health System. Also, you use the same credentials as you do to authenticate your Microsoft/Azure account.
- Username = MCHS e-mail address
- Password = current system password.
- Active users of the Library do not need to make new accounts and have been switched to SSO.
- After your registration form is received, we will request for you to have SSO to the eLibrary as well as the Primo Catalog (the Books link on the Library homepage). Your MCHS manager will need to approve this request in ServiceNow. After that step is completed, you will have eLibrary and Primo access. Please note: This could take a few days if your manager is out of the office.
- MCCN students now use their Canvas/Carmelink credentials to authenticate with the eLibrary and Primo.
- All enrolled MCCN students, and MCHS Graduate Medical Education Residents automatically have Library accounts and DO NOT need to complete the Library Registration form referenced above.
