Ken holds a B.A. in English, Lynchburg College, Lynchburg, VA and Master of Science in Library Science, Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Clarion, PA. He serves as the Library's liaison to Mount Carmel College of Nursing, spending much of his time supporting the educational and research needs of MCCN faculty and students. His other duties include collaborating and engaging with other nursing departments, developing support materials and delivering tailored workshops/orientations at the point-of-need. Recently he has established ongoing collaboration with Trinity systems wide researchers, nursing faculty and other nurse educators in designing and implementing customized online educational tutorials.

Provides professional level library and information services at all organizational levels, all Mount Carmel operating entities and geographic sites.

Stevo Roksandic came to Mount Carmel in 2003, and since 2006 has served as the Regional Director of Library Services. Stevo was named a 2015 "Mover and Shaker" by the American Library Association (ALA) and is a Senior Level member of the Medical Library Association's Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP). Stevo designed the MCHS Consumer Health Library and Consumer Health Information Centers as ‘Libraries Without Shelves.’ His research interests include the evaluation of user communities, integration of emerging library design trends, and organizational development. His philosophy is: "It’s not about me, it’s about we." Stevo is looking forward to transforming MCHSL by the time it celebrates its 100-year birthday in 2021.
Job Summary
In accordance with Mount Carmel Health System's (MCHS) Mission and Guiding Behaviors, the Regional Director of Library Services plans, directs, and coordinates operations of the Health Sciences Library (HSL) by serving physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals across MCHS, which operates in multiple hospital locations, and includes the Mount Carmel College of Nursing (MCCN). Leads in planning, implementing, and evaluating access to information resources for the diverse educational needs of MCHS colleagues, patients, and several Trinity RHM's. Assures that the HSL meets accreditation requirements of Mount Carmel entities, especially the College of Nursing and Medical Education.
